STARSHIP LAUNCH A SUCCESS!

SpaceX succcessfully launched its third Starship rocket into the atmosphere yesterday.
The unmanned rocket successfully flew halfway around the planet before crashing while it reentered the atmosphere.
WHY STARSHIP MATTERS?
Starship is the most powerful rocket to ever be launched in humanity’s history.
It’s also designed to be reusable for multiple launches - a massive potential breakthrough in space technology.
NASA intends to use Starship for its mission returning to the moon as soon as 2026.

ARE COLD PLUNGES A HOAX?
Research on ice cold water therapy found very little evidence that cold plunging is actually beneficial for your health.
The researchers attributed most of the benefits from cold plunging to the placebo effect.
WHY IT MATTERS?
Cold plunging has become the latest exercise fad promoted by celebrities like Andrew Huberman and Chris Hemsworth.
They claim it reduces inflammation and boosts your metabolism.
This research finds that’s probably not true.
DA VINCI’S TAKE:
Cold plunging is probably a placebo, but who cares? If it feels good, keep doing it!
You just probably don’t need to buy a $2,000 ice bath machine to stay healthy.

GOTTA FIX THAT STEP - TY BURRELL HAS A NEW SITCOM!
ABC has ordered a pilot for a new sitcom starring Emmy-award winner Ty Burrell.
Titled “Forgive and Forget,” the show will follow Hank (played by Burrell), an immature father as he reconnects with his children.
WHY IT MATTERS?
Burell won 2 Emmys for his role as Phil Dunphy in ABC’s “Modern Family”
The pilot is Burrell’s first leading role on a network sitcom since the end of “Modern Family.”
